Arthur William Noller

Funeral services for Arthur William Noller, 91, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Cremation will follow the services.
Mr. Noller died Sunday, July 12, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born Nov. 14, 1917, in Alma, the son of Dr. Otto W. and Alice S. Smith Noller.
He worked as a car salesman for Laird Noller Ford and John Haddock Ford, both in Lawrence. He also worked for Skaggs in Dodge City and Touslee Motors in Atchison. He retired from Lawrence High School after 17 years in 1997.
Mr. Noller was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge, serving as past exalted ruler of the Lawrence Elks Lodge, a former Lion’s Club member, and member of the Atchison and Topeka Chambers of Commerce.
He married Antoinette Y. Cook on April 2, 1940, in Lawrence. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include four daughters, Nancy Main, Salina, Patricia Krug, Tecumseh, Susan Venegas, Dodge City, and Debra Huff, Lawrence; one brother, Edwin Noller, Bella Vista, Ark.; 16 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary. The family will greet friends after the service Wednesday.
