Vikki Lee Love

Baldwin City – A remembrance service for Vikki Lee Love, 55, Baldwin City, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at her home, 1921 N. 200 Road, which is U.S. Highway 56.Ms. Love died Saturday, June 16, 2007, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. She was born June 8, 1952, in Kirksville, Mo., the daughter of Billy Ray and Barbara Jean May Rummerfield. She graduated from Brashear High School in Brashear, Mo. She moved to Lawrence in 1978, then to Eudora and later Baldwin City. Ms. Love was an emergency medical technician for several years. She was a member of Eudora United Methodist Church. She enjoyed showing horses and trail riding. She also enjoyed decorating, gardening and spending time with her children, family and fiance. Survivors include her father, Billy Ray Rummerfield, Moberly, Mo.; her mother, Barbara Jean May Tillery and husband Roy W., Cairo, Mo.; three daughters, Tina Jo Passmore, Tara Ann Passmore and Tomi Marie Hitt, all of Shawnee; her fiance, Allen Oberhelman, Baldwin City; a sister, Debbie McClain, Beebe, Ark.; three half-brothers; two grandchildren, Austin William Stone and Dalton Dixie Lafitte; and special friend, Dr. Matthew Stein, Lawrence.The family suggests memorials to the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Endowment Fund for the Oncology Department, sent in care of Bruce Funeral Home, P.O.
