Charles A. Clark
Services for Charles A. Clark, 83, Winchester, will be at 5 p.m. Monday at New Testament Christian Church in Winchester. Burial will follow at Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery.Mr. Clark died Thursday, April 19, 2007, at Jefferson County Geriatric Center in Winchester. He was born Nov. 30, 1923, in Liberty, Mo., the son of Arthur Franklin and Martha Ann Stevenson Clark. He graduated from Winchester High School in 1941.Mr. Clark served in the U.S. Army. He was a firefighter at Sunflower Ordinance Works in De Soto and Leavenworth Veterans Affairs. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Jefferson County.He married Doris “Jean” Adams on Sept. 8, 1953, in Cheyenne, Wyo. She survives, of the home. Other survivors include a daughter, Amy Clark, Kansas City, Mo.; and a sister, Jean Peters, Winchester.Mr. Clark was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Clark.The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday with Masonic services at 7 p.m. at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.
