Bonnie L. Redick

Funeral services for Bonnie L. Redick, 81, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at De Soto Baptist Church. Burial will be in Silent City Cemetery in De Soto.Mrs. Redick died Thursday, April 19, 2007, at her home.She was born March 9, 1926, in Deepwater, Mo., the daughter of Archie and Roxie Thompson Bedford. She lived in De Soto for more than 40 years and recently moved to Lawrence. Mrs. Redick worked as an administrative assistant for King Radio, the Olathe Courthouse and Hercules Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant. She was a member of De Soto Baptist Church and De Soto Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She married Robert Redick on June 1, 1970. He survives, of the home.Other survivors include a daughter, Gloria Wycoff; three grandchildren, Tonya, Natalie and Nick; eight great-grandchildren; six brothers and sisters; two stepdaughters, Sue Farrell and Cheryl Redick; and many stepgrandchildren. Mrs. Redick was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine McMillan; a son, Robert “Bobby” Pinkston; and two stepsons, Johnnie and Robert Redick Jr.The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel.The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Kansas, sent in care of the mortuary.Online condolences may be sent at www.warrenmcelwain.com, subject: Redick.
