Visitation services for Clarence Frederick William Reimer, 71, Overland Park, will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home in Olathe and at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Carrollton, Mo. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. Thursday in Oak Hill Cemetery in Carrollton.Mr. Reimer died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, in Overland Park.He was born April 30, 1934, in Carrollton, Mo., the son of Henry and Augusta Brockmeier Reimer. He grew up and attended school in Carrollton. He received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Missouri. He was a resident of Lawrence for eight years.Mr. Reimer served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and was stationed in Spain. He farmed with his father growing up and independently as a young adult. He worked for the John Deere Co. in Kansas City for 20 years. He later worked for Farm Credit Administration in St. Louis and retired in 1996.Survivors include his wife, Peggy, of the home; a son, Fredrick, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; a daughter, Susanne Reimer, St. Louis; a stepson, Wayne Wellman, Raytown, Mo.; a sister, Ruth Hensiek, Carrollton, Mo.; and two grandchildren.The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Assn., Parkinson’s Assn. or Immanuel Lutheran Church, sent in care of the funeral home, 14275 S.
