Services for Dorothy Louise Robison Lindsay, 81, Douglas County, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lawrence. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lecompton.Mrs. Lindsay died Sunday, April 24, 2005, at Rossville Valley Manor in Rossville.She was born July 20, 1923, in Independence, Mo., the daughter of Charles and Dorothy L. Hammond Adlard. She lived in Lawrence, Lecompton and Topeka for most of her adult life.Mrs. Lindsay was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lawrence and the Sunshine Group in Lecompton.She had been married to Robert Charles Edwards, William Lee Highbaugh, Ervin J. Robison and Hobart “Woody” Lindsay. They died earlier.A son, Duane Robison, also died earlier.Survivors include a son, Bill Highbaugh Robison, Topeka; a daughter, Kathleen “Kay” Edwards Robison Dick, Rossville; a brother, George W. Adlard, Buckner, Mo.; a sister, Betty Perry, John Knox, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.The family suggests memorials to the church missionary fund, sent in care of the mortuary.E-mail condolences may be sent to info@warrenmcelwain.com, subject: Lindsay.
