I already subscribe to the newspaper. How do I read the website / e-Edition / app?

Access to the website, e-Edition, and LJWorld.com app is included with your print subscription. If you have not already, activate your account for access to the website HERE. Your email address and the password you set will be your login for the website, e-Edition and the app.

Your website used to be free, why is there a charge for online subscriptions?

The Journal-World employs the largest newsgathering team in Douglas County and does critically important watchdog and investigative journalism that no other organization can provide. We are proud to have offered all of our content online for free for nearly 25 years. However, the media business has changed significantly during that time, especially advertising. The Journal-World’s business must also change in order to ensure that local community journalism endures.

How do I update my account information?

Email subs@ljworld.com or call 785-843-1000 with your updated info. Be sure to provide enough information for the customer service rep to find your existing account.

Journal-World subscribers have access to the digital replica of the print newspaper, the e-Edition. To access the e-Edition, you must first set up your account with our circulation department. Please follow the directions at our subscription management website.

My paper was not delivered. What can I do?

How do I stop delivery when I go out of town?

How can I send a message to my carrier?

You can send a message to your carrier by emailing subs@ljworld.com. Please include your full address and name.

How can I make a payment?

To place a payment with a debit or credit card over the phone, call 785-843-1000 during regular business hours. Checks can be mailed to PO Box 888 Lawrence, KS 66044. To set up hassle free auto payment on your account using a credit card, debit card or checking account, call 785-843-1000 and ask to be set up on EZ-Pay.

How do I order previously published issues of the Lawrence Journal-World?
