I already subscribe to the newspaper. How do I read the website / e-Edition / app?

Access to the website, e-Edition, and app is included with your print subscription. If you have not already, activate your account for access to the website HERE. Your email address and the password you set will be your login for the website, e-Edition and the app.

Your website used to be free, why is there a charge for online subscriptions?

The Journal-World employs the largest newsgathering team in Douglas County and does critically important watchdog and investigative journalism that no other organization can provide. We are proud to have offered all of our content online for free for nearly 25 years. However, the media business has changed significantly during that time, especially advertising. The Journal-World’s business must also change in order to ensure that local community journalism endures.
