Douglas County voters are deciding today who moves on to the November general election in the races for the County Commission, the district attorney and several state House and Senate seats.

Polling places are open today from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. All mail ballots must be postmarked by election day and received by Friday, Aug. 9, in order to be counted.

There are several ballot drop box locations in Douglas County, including the Douglas County Courthouse, the Douglas County Elections Office at 711 W. 23rd St., and the Baldwin City, Eudora and Lecompton city halls.
