As you have noticed, I don’t have a catchy headline for this morning’s post like I did yesterday. In case you missed it yesterday.. Gunshots, Fireworks, Marijuana and a Flaming Toilet. As a little bit of a follow up to that. My current scanner setup records audio to my computer, went through the archive yesterday afternoon and found the audio on the report of the toilet that had been on fire. As for today, breaking things seemed to be the theme of the night. The night started off, just after midnight, with LPD responding to the 1300 block of Rhode Island on reports of a 14-year-old that was out control and breaking things.

Minutes before 1 a.m. Police were called to the 900 block of Ohio to check an address after the caller found broken glass. Police responded and found, what sounded to me like, someone had thrown a rock or brick through a window. No arrests were made.

An officer on routine patrols in the 800 block of west 24th Street, reported “a large disturbance.” The officer did not give an approximate number of subjects involved, a total of four officers total handled the situation.

LPD was called to the 900 block of Arkansas just after 4 a.m. to check the welfare of an intoxicated male in the hallway. The caller stated that the man was beginning to undress and needed to leave.
