Sen. Sam Brownback was overseas this week, accompanying a delivery of tsunami-relief supplies to Sri Lanka.[The Kansas City Star][1] reports:"Surveying the damage done by the tsunami, U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback expressed confidence that the world would come to the rescue. "His vision, however, is of international aid that does not just stem a crisis, but gives a developing country the wherewithal to prosper on its own. "'You can handle the crisis or you can use the generosity inspired by it to make lasting improvements,' said the Republican from Kansas.
