Buying a "ticket" is about buying a ridiculous dream. You will never win, but you can always dream.
We can buy cheap and marvelous dreams!
Our dreams sustain us in this ridiculous world. All is certainly lost, but vision brings a wealth of hope...for a few bucks...unlike much else in this world. OH, if only our losses brought us redemption from our failed electoral system. Super PACs? REALLY? It's about the worst thing that's been allowed to come our way. Thank you, politics. You suck.
Both the poor and the rich probably feel this way. Yes? No?

Too much money; and, I'd have to leave Lawrence and most of my friends. I don't think many people buying those tickets understand just how their lives would change with that kind of moola. It could be a very lonely existence. So no, I'm not buying a power ball ticket.
