We visit it everyday, because we get our mail in a post office box.

I can't remember the last time I was in a post office. As for our house, they could save money and stop Saturday delivery and maybe cut back on the work week delivery. My wife is self employed and goes to the post office alot

One visit to the post office and it's easy to understand why UPS and Fed Ex are kicking its butt.

Going to the post office puts me in a bad mood. So I try to avoid it.

What is this "post office" you speak of?

As bad as the service is at the Vermont Street Post Office, I have threatened to drive to either Eudora or Lecompton! The staff at Vermont St. seems to be of the opinion that the customer is to be be treated rudely, and who cares how long the line is!; it used to be the drivers license bureau at DMV, but they seem to be better than the P.O.

I would prefer to lose my Saturday delivery to small communities losing their post office. A working post office does not only serve the community it has a positive effect on economy and quality of life.

Who is the postmaster at the Vermont St. P.O.; they need a performance review by the customers! What a joke, not like when Jack Harris ran it many years ago!

The postal clerks at the downtown post office counter have always been a bit snotty and dismissive. God forbid you be there in the afternoon when there's either the shift change or the scheduled breaks. There could be 40 people in line and suddenly there's only one clerk. Doesn't matter because it's 3:01.001 p.m. and my shift's over.

I refuse to use the Vermont Street Station. Those folks are rude!I only use the Post Office when I'm sending birthday or Christmas packages that won't fit in a padded envelope and need to be mailed in a box.To France.
