They just don't make them like Bob Dole anymore. From the days when being a moderate Republican meant something. His wisdom and experience and insights are much needed in the context of today's poisonous political discourse.

amen. Politics is populated by petulant children who think bipartisan is a sexual orientation.

RiverCity - You just "might" find that attribute in Romney. Note the emphasis on "might". Not totally known at this time.

I agree, and I think that is why he is a frontrunner. The other two are grabbing at straws; they will say anything to get the voters attention. However, I agree with Sen. Dole. Santorum should drop out. He is a sore on the backside of thoughtful voters. His religion clouds his judgement and he knows very little about leadership. Gingrich, on the other hand, is anti religion. His past belies the fact that we need someone who has more than an ounce of decorum and can think clearly of what he wants to do. Open marriages, filandering and all, he is a bully, he is too out spoken and will run a presidency without rules or any kind of protocol. "No" to both.

Perhaps, but Romney is trying to be the Stepford Candidate to satisfy all. Senator Dole was brave and spoke his mind even when it hurt him. I still miss Bob and Nancy.

Someone seriously thought that would make a good poll question? Around here? I can already tell you who will answer either way.
As a matter of fact, what Bob Dole thinks doesn't matter to anyone around here. Party ticket only. That's how things work around here.
Now as for the rest of Kansas... They're not rabid, so they would probably give some weight to what the man has to say.

Bob Dole is a socialist by today's standards. I'm glad he's not around to be subjected to this.

Rush would probably call him a "slut" for discussing ED and the drugs used to treat it.

LOL. Old Pilonidal Cyst knows how to stir things up. He can use Viagra for his "educational trips" but others cannot without incurring his wrath.
