Whoops, I meant to say liberal leaning moderate.

The hard core republicans would turn on Bob Dole and call him names in todays times.

Nothing against Bod Dole. He would be considered a liberal leaning Bob Dole in todays F'd up times.

But, seriously, does anyone care about endorsements in todays times of the Internet.

There are so many rabid people with opinions that everyone pretty much have their mind already made up and nothing like sanity or reason will affect that....

Bob Dole is a socialist by today's standards. I'm glad he's not around to be subjected to this.

Someone seriously thought that would make a good poll question? Around here? I can already tell you who will answer either way.

As a matter of fact, what Bob Dole thinks doesn't matter to anyone around here. Party ticket only. That's how things work around here.

Now as for the rest of Kansas... They're not rabid, so they would probably give some weight to what the man has to say.

RiverCity - You just "might" find that attribute in Romney. Note the emphasis on "might". Not totally known at this time.

They just don't make them like Bob Dole anymore. From the days when being a moderate Republican meant something. His wisdom and experience and insights are much needed in the context of today's poisonous political discourse.
