To prevent grass fires, no. To keep a newly sodded lawn from dying, why yes. Sadly the city mistook my high consumption as a 'possible water leak'. I'm guessing they failed to notice the green and black things spraying water throughout the yard.

I have been cutting back on the amount of water I put in my bourbon, but a tad more ice. Just trying to help.

I'm just pondering setting a preemptive backburn.

I am enjoying less mowing of the lawn, but watering the garden every three days.
