We have crossed that bridge and are looking for another horizon to chase. Why would we go backward. The next frontier is Mars.

@wounded_soldier, the next frontier is Mars.
However, we have to go back to the Moon first just to make sure we can live in that environment. I just don't think it will happen in my lifetime.

There's still a heck of a lot of moon that we've not examined yet.

Yes. Going back to the moon will be the proof of concept we can establish a long term outpost.
Agnostick 8 months, 2 weeks ago
We're going to go back. We'll take high-definition cameras, at least two IMAX cameras. And this time, we're not going to LOSE THE MOTHERSCRATCHIN' ORIGINAL FOOTAGE!!

It has been theorized by scientist and well known Sci-Fi writers for decades that a manned Moon base is essential for further manned exploration of space. Easier to take off from the Moon going to Mars than to launch from earth. Amazing how much Science Fiction became Science Fact. We will Go to the moon again. Just not sure when.

Michael Jackson will never moonwalk again either.

I belive the US will land on the moon again and further explore space. However it will take longer or another country will due it because Obama is promoting tribal warfare. If you have it, you are bad and should give it to those who do not have it. Many other dictators have used simular tribal warfare methods to promote themselves and suppress disadents. Think about Africans tribal leader who capture fellow Affricans and sent them into slavery. Think about what the Nazis did. Think about many African leaders are doing now. And why are KU students being robbed? Think what this country will be like if more of us decide to take what we want? . .

Did we ever really go? ;)

In Soviet America, moon walks on you.
That's a dumb question. Of course we will. We went from some bike with wings to the moon in decades. We will go to the moon, we will stay on the moon and we will call it America, or 'Murica depending on where you lived before moving to the moon.
Also, if there are infinite universes, man is always walking on the moon.
jhawkinsf 8 months, 2 weeks ago
Man will go back. Woman too.

Not if we obliterate ourselves first.

Anymore, I try not to get obliterated until at least the middle day of a long weekend.

"Ever" is a very long time. Anyone who has said 'no' in response to this poll probably didn't think about the species homo sapiens and extrapolated that out to eternity.
