No, but I owned a stretch of I-94 when I was young, crazy, and had a wicked hot set of wheels.

I take a litter bag and pick up litter on my walks. I take very short walks. I hate fast food for a variety of reasons. Lots of brand names out there.

That is an awesome thing to do--thank you!
Fast food litter is disgusting. Our property has a long frontage on the road and I wish there were some way to catch the a$$es who throw cups, burger wrappers, pop cans, etc., in our ditch. We have to pick it up or the mower shreds it and makes a worse mess.

We have someone throwing beer cans (6 to 10 per week). I'd complain but we recycle the aluminum ;-)

Yes, and I turned the 4-lane road into a leisurely 2-lane road. No need to concentrate on staying between the lines, enjoy double the space for added ease and enjoyment.
...didn't work out too well for Newman, though.

Solution to dog problem: Pepper spray, Air horn, firecrackers, guns including 22 caliber and 410 shotgun! No sympathy for dogs running loose and harrassing the neighborhood and passerbys!

Wow. Did you torture animals when you grew up serial killer style too?

Whine, whine, whine... from one who probably never walked a route where irresponsible owners let vicious dogs run loose...

I did. It never calls, never writes....but I'm not bitter.

g-rockp; Me too, I am the proud owner of a football size chunk of old (abandoned section) of Route 66 from near Gallup, New Mexico. Just pulled my truck over one day out there and somehow a chunk appeared in the truck bed. We travelled 66 many times in the 40's from Lawrence to L.A. and back; still finds sections in N.M. and Arizona (especially good) whenever I'm out there. The nostalgia for those road trips is great, miss the canvas water bags, the window mounted (torpedo) swamp coolers, the 6-legged calf at the Jackrabbit curios emporium and the Navajo roadside vendors. I-40 is fast but a different world!

No partial adoptions for me: I have adapted US 281 from Brownsville, TX to the Canadian border at Dunseith, ND. It's my favorite highway to drive.
