Luck in sports is a result of hard work and adequate coaching. Only time will tell.

If it works we should win three games this year.

Merrill, FTW. Hey, buddy, I've got to give you props when you earn them.

This must be another hopey-changey thing, because he does not have a track record of doing that at D-1 schools... head coach or coordinator.

It could have brought good luck if they didn't have an Oklahoma guy sculpt it, and have it built in OK. We have a great sculptor here (Jim Brothers) and a great foundry (Ad Astra Art Bronze).

That's sad and they do it all the time with other projects.

Only if that bronze Jayhawk has some eligibility. He'd be awful hard to take down if he broke loose downfield.

not unless it can play a good game at quarterback, or any other position!

It may be bronze now, but I expect to see it purple sometime; give those Catbackers something to occupy their time!

Jayhawks, baby! There's nuthin' cooler nor more unique.
Their football uni's should look like this:
Blood Red Helmets with Yellow FaceMasks. No logo, no letters, no stripe, just Red. Blue Jerseys & Pants Yellow Shoes
Now that be lookin' like a Jayhawk. You gotta look the part if you're gonna Rock the Chalk.

Our competition doesn't treat it as a hobby like KU does. So...no.
