Getting a hip replacement ended my bicycling fun. Never found a seat that I could use comfortably. Just sold my bike this week. Sucks.

Did you ever try a noseless bike seat? I know a few people that swear by them, but not because of hip issues. Just curious.

Several times a week, depending upon the season. Zero times for Nov. - Feb. (and maybe March).

That reminds me - I need to air up the tires on my bicycle, they seem to go flat every winter!

Yes, sorry. But we're militant about spelling too.

Bikes are not hazards to cars (if you know how to drive anyway), cars are actually the hazard to bikes. After all, the bike did come first

I would if I could but I can't, so I walk. To campus - quite a journey. Back from campus - smooth sailing downhill!

Every day to work, to the store, downtowm, visit friends. It's my primary mode. I'll drive if I have to, but if I don't I'd rather pedal. Even in the Winter. I'm trying to keep up with my Mother. She's an 81 year old retiree out in Arizona (Summers in Utah or Idaho. Snowbird, don't ya know.) and rides her bike every day. Dances, too. I figure it keeps her young; maybe it'll work for me, too.

Word to your mama! A fine example she has set for you, young man. I like her taste in locales, too.

I enjoy riding my bicycle around the neighborhood, a good way to keep in touch with the more distant neighbors and socialize while getting some fresh air. Biking as a means of transportation is only practical for a few. We're just too spread out.

Those folks in the racing spandex with the aerodynamic helmets? Some shouldn't wear that stuff it borders on obscene.

Park the vehicle as often as possible and why not? Every little bit helps.

Boycott gasoline every chance you get by socializing on bikes.

Fortunately Lawrence is a good commuting town. I stay off the busy streets usually. Last time we visited Philadelphia we noticed what appeared to be an increased number of bicycles. Not only actively pedaling but an awesome number parked throughout the downtown area.

Progress is being made slowly.

Remember the white collar oil executive crooks are waiting for all of us at each gasoline pump then laughing all of the way to a Wall Street bank.

Once a week at spin class. I like bikes that can't fall over.

I ride mine whenever I don't feel like obeying the traffic laws. Stop sign? Forget about it. Riding in the middle of the road just to anger auto drivers? Yeah. They let you ride on the roads just like an adult and you don't have to follow any rules!

Biking would be more enjoyable if you didn't have to be concerned over the clouds of toxic pollution pumped out by internal combustion lawn mowers. Those planet killer machines should be banned. Not doing that would be dumb and irresponsible !!!!!!!!
