NO!

No! I am sick and tired of the crass commercialism that has taken over the "Holiday Season", (used to be the Christmas Season, but we cannot risk offending other religions) The celebration of the birth of Christ has almost gotten lost in the savage orgy of spending, indebtedness, greed, commercial crap, and just plain stupidity that springs up now even before Halloween or Thanksgiving.

My family has passed away. The holidays are sad for me. I am happy when it is over.

I don't stress. I plan and do my best (or sometimes, just do what I'm told). I love being with family and apparently, love does cover a multitude of sins (or just plain old mistakes in many cases).

The holidays use to stress me out but since our country is in such great economic shape and knowing that we will soon have an $18 million dollar library, the cockles of my heart are warm!

I love Thanksgiving but I could do without all the crap between the day after and January 1. My alarm is set on a station that started playing 24/7 Christmas music on November 1. I've left it there because it irritates me so much I bounce out of bed just so I can turn it off.
