Its a game for middle school girls. I'd rather watch natgeo reruns.
Heck yes! Not just following, but going! A couple of my friends and I have tickets to the USA vs. Algeria game on June 23 in Pretoria and the Mexico vs. Uruguay game on June 22 in Rustenburg. Cannot wait...
Lucky you!!! Enjoy the games.
Greatest sporting event in the world, with the possible exception of the NCAA basketball tournament. Heck yes, I'll be watching.
Possible exception? NCAA basketball rocks! I don't watch soccer.
Not while I can watch the NBA Finals, or baseball, or Billy Mays infomercials (boy, those companies are getting their money's worth, eh?), or reruns of Ghost Whisperer, or new episodes of Fan Boy and Chum Chum, or Kick Buttowski...
I'll just tune in to Sportscenter for 10 minutes and catch all the goals, instead of sitting through hours of scorless soccer. Just my feeling on the subject.
I just don't get how people think soccer is boring! It's constant action. So what if it's lowscoring, so is ice hockey but that seems pretty popular in this country. I'll definitely be watching or listening to ever US and England match I can.
I'm not a hockey fan either =)
I think watching people kick balls is boring, regardless of the score. You are right about hockey. It isn't any better.
I plan to record the games...next time I have trouble sleeping, I'll just hit the play button. zzzz
i woul be watchin', but i gotta mow the lawn, do some drag-racing, pick my nose, etc.etc...
Top Fuel drag racing is as close to an earthquake as we are likely to get around here, so I can deal with that. When they launch they can register 3.9 on the richter scale and you can sit in Overbrook (12 miles away) and listen to them. Those things are monsters.
When we go to Heartland Park to watch, we sit in the stands for about an hour and spend about 5 walking around the pits checking out the cars.
