Well, here what I have to add...... nothing.... don't want to get in trouble again.
bearded_gnome (anonymous) says…
ah, the mud! that's what we really look forward to in march/april!
no, I still say we're gettin' pounded with snow. heck the road might get closed for whiteout conditions between your house and your privvy!
okay, if I'm right, do i get something? do I get to rename the "dam run?" do I get naming rights for that little sandbar in the kansas river down river from the dam? [other dam I think]?
can I rename any street in lawrence I choose?
RoeDapple (anonymous) says…
Did not include my choices
1. About as high as my freshly planted onion sets.
or
2. Just enough to p#$$ me off.
I pick #1

Maybe they will let you name the Alvamar buffalo wallow.
wow,
maybe if I called it a swamp/wetlands the greenies would suddenly love that geo feature!.
my first choice for a prize: I want to rename a street, any one I choose.
if I get to name the sand bar, I'd call it: ... the Klondike Bar, for obvious reasons.
RoeDapple (anonymous) says…
Careful Curtis, you'll get blamed if we do.......
Of course we blame the weatherman anyway don't we?..........

It's going to rain like crazy though.

I'm waiting to give my real vote tomorrow. Me thinks Multi has a hair trigger on this one.

Stay off that ice, don't want you off line with injuries. By the way, is the foot all healed up?
Pywacket (anonymous) says…
Predictions of heavy snow have been greatly exaggerated, IMO. Earlier, when I voted, I ticked the 1-3-inch choice. If I were to guess now, I might lower that estimate to 0-1.
If I had a dollar for every time heavy snow has been predicted, only to have it warm up that few crucial degrees and rain instead, I'd be at Trunk Bay right now, laughing at the crazy March weather here.
Jersey_Girl (anonymous) says…
I don't think we'll have any accumulation. The ground isn't frozen. So the amount we get is moot.
HermioneElliott (anonymous) says…
I have going to give this question the serious thoughtfulness that it deserves. I say we are going to get a foot or more of snow on top of ice and the wind is going to create drifts of five feet.
Then it is all going to melt on Monday and we will flood.
But, hey I am on the third floor so I don't care.
Ku 38 Mich st. 34 oh no. Come on KU!
40-38 Oh, my God!

Multi - suddenly got chilly in here.;-]

eeewwwwwwwwwwww...............

bearded_gnome (anonymous) says…
Would the name of that sandbar then be referred to as The Dam Klondike Bar? I like that one best.
absolutely!
I will not be held responsible for how that name will change the behavior of this community, or geese on the river for that matter.
KU is out of the tournament. so this means what for the snow? means we're gonna get wallopped.
BigPrune (anonymous) says…
The woman likes 7+ inches, I say just ice.
jumpin_catfish (anonymous) says…
Made a pot of beef stew and mashed tatoes. Oh baby and the lovely wife is bakin' oatmeal raisin walnut cookies. Great day to stay in with a little bball on the tube and maybe do some snoozin'. jumpin' catfish out!
HermioneElliott (anonymous) says…
Ku lost because I was dividing my attention between the weather and the game.
My bad!
RoeDapple (anonymous) says…
Saw it earlier..........................
Spouse says to get 7+ around here it would have to "snow" twice !
That doesn't make sense...............
Does it?
KUweatherman (Curtis Lange) says…
lol, only 6 people ended up being correct. Nice.
bearded_gnome (anonymous) says…
hey Curt,
don't give up yet! we could still get a massive final burst of snow, piling 7inches on the krud we have now, whatever you call that ice/mud/slick/bleck.
don't give up yet Curtis! there is still wonder in the world.
