As a Subaru Forrester owner I am offended. My car may be dirty inside and out, it may have been soiled during wakarusa festival, it may have a dream catcher hanging from the review mirror, but you'll find my bumped sticker free.

We're frying ours this year, but have one in the freezer that will get smoked later on.

Wrapped in bacon and slow cooked all day.

Smoked. Of course. I have a standard mandate from my family members that there will be smoked turkey every Thanksgiving and Christmas. If I fail to comply, certain penalities may be imposed..such as trade embargoes and fines.

LOL, edjayhawk! My guess is that it will be a Subaru. It of course will have to be a Forrester, festooned with the appropriate touchy-feely bumper stickers.

Will you be picking it up in your Subaru or Volvo?

After seeing the Palin turkey kill?? Nope, no turkey this year. Chicken or nothing.

In an oven? Seriously, a soy and sage olive oil baste and smothered in gravy - for the biscuits of course! Quorn makes some decent faux chicken if you're interested. We tend to avoid fake meats in general since my kids could care less about them.

Roasted, but only after brining, of course.BuffyloGal, the turkey is on the outside of the turducken. I haven't had one yet, but it's turkey, stuffed with a duck, stuffed with a chicken. I'm actually looking forward to trying one and sharing it with about 60 friends -- since I think that's how many it will serve. How do you cook your tofurkey? I had seitan in a soup recently and was pleasantly surprised by it. Now, it won't be a regular in the Informed household, but it will probably make a guest appearance from time to time.

Where's the option of inside a chicken, duck, or goose or is it the other way around? This vegetarian can't keep up.

where is the option that says "i don't think i could eat turkey this year after watching that video of Palin chattering mindlessly in front of that turkey "farm" - watching one get the Fargo treatment right before my very eyes." yuk! maybe next year...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-kjM1asH-8&e
