That 16% is lying.

Pissed me off so much, I spent the next 30 years locking criminals up. Thank you, Lynn

Hard to believe 16% has never been the victim of a crime. Our cars have been broken into 3 times during the last 19 years, and as recent as last Christmas.

my car was also broken into 2 years ago. its not a good feeling but its sadly enough something that has happen to a lot of people. crime doesn't discriminate there's enough to go around.

Thoughtcrime... victim and perpetrator.

Had a gun in my face twice, had my nose broken, been threatened with a knife, had a couple of cars vandalized, and had tools stolen, but other than that, no.

I spent money to buy the Lawrence Journal World once. Does that count as robbery? Or fraud?

Not untill I moved to East Lawrence.

I was charged money for some nasty, itty-bitty hamburgers at a dump called White Castle. I was robbed.

Know what you mean, Lynn. Both times I got the shaft from my insurance company. Now I spend a great deal of time helping others force insurance companies to live up to their contractual responsibilities.

the latest crime I've been subjected to was when a couple of the far right, neocons that post on this site told me how stupid I must be and then corrected my grammer...ouch. I guess that is not too bad.
