I love fireworks and have wonderful memories. Given the opportunity to shoot some off in the county, I will. What ticks me off are the ones who shoot them until 3 am inside the city limits in a very populated neighborhood. When the 4th is in the middle of the week and these inconsiderates don't care that the rest of the world must go to work the next day, it really burns me. Although it shouldn't matter what day of the week it is. The police are no help. . I want to start banging on their doors at 5 am so they can't sleep. I'm not talking roman candles, I'm talking the boomers that rattle the windows 2 blocks away.

I don't buy fireworks: I follow John Adams famous recommendation as nearly as I can: I use ammunition, and shoot targets.
