Not to pay a bill but to feed my children once - many years ago. I hope I'm not forced to do it now the way things are going.

Not a family heirloom but while in school, I sold a lot of things that had sentimental value(ie favorite books) and some things that had no sentimental value (ie plasma) in order to support my son and get through school. Those were tough, tough times. Dena

I had to sell my baby to afford a car. Thing kept breaking down and having crap come out the tailpipe. Serious fluid leaks all the time. The car didn't work so well either.

In a way I did. I helped my grandmother sell her house, the one my grandpa inherited from his parents, so she could move to an assisted living facility. Though the move helped her stay quasi-independent for a few more years, I have regrets. She reliquished many, many memories when she gave up her home.
