"The guy who set their schedule up didn't return Texas and Oklahoma's calls."

Huh? The Big XII is scheduled in a set rotation. There is no control over the conference schedule regarding opponent or game location.

I'm not particulary impressed with Misery's schedule why we're at it. Sure, you played Oklahoma, but who won? After KU dismisses your Tigers, we'll get our own shot at OU.

"Good grief. Do all the Big 12 schools read the Journal World so they can learn about REAL sports??? "

Not hardly. When wanting to know anything about Big XII sports, the LJW is definitely not a source you should turn to. Try www.dallasnews.com www.kcstar.com or any other newspaper in the Big XII region. The LJW will give you a few lines about KU (unless it's KU basketball, then you get 365/24/7 full page coverage) and nothing else about the rest of the league. You would think that KU plays in a conference of one, and only plays one sport.

Gootsie gets points for using "garbaj", which Mr. Mizzou thought was french.

Well, one thing I would point out there, Mr. "mizzu", is that KU beat A&M in College Station whereas MIssouri beat them at Columbia. Things are very different on the road.

And if you want to play that game, Missouri only put up 41 on Nebraska in Columbia whereas KU hung 76 points on them in Lawrence.

Good grief. Do all the Big 12 schools read the Journal World so they can learn about REAL sports??? Do KU fans post this garbaj in other towns' newspapers?

Allow me to dismantle "your" case (or the exact same case every other insecure tiger fan has given since the OSU game didn't turn out how they expected):

Kansas 19 Texas A&M 11 Missouri 40 Texas A&M 26

KU held the nation's 3rd-best rushing offense to 11 points in College Station, while Mizzou allowed 26 in their own house. KU was in the red-zone all game long against A&M and just made a few untimely mistakes when trying to get in the endzone. I fail to see how this demonstrates advantage: Mizzou

=====================

Kansas 76 Nebraska 39 (they allowed 39 pts?) Missouri 41 Nebraska 6 (very impressive)

First of all, seeing as how Mizzou didn't play Joe Ganz-led Nebraska, comparing scores against Nebraska is pretty irrelevant. Ganz-Nebraska is averaging 56 points/game. Plus, the margin of victory is nearly identical, and most people who understand sports also understand that scores are not absolute, they must be taken in the context of the game. This is why margin of victory has a much closer relationship to win/losses than do absolute scoring offense and defense.

Kansas 19 Colorado 14 Missouri 55 Colorado 10

This is the closest you get to a definitive example of how MU is better than KU. However, it was a tough test that will help KU in the long run. Missouri LOST the only close game they've endured this season. And you better believe that 11/24 is going to be hotly contested. Hope you're ready...

"They need to focus their attention at Iowa State who are seething at the chance to stun the nation this saturday."

Same to you with KSU. They have shown to be a good team at times this season, and you better bet they'll be angry and ready to avenge a shellacking by Nebraska. In fact, they'll likely be as angry as Nebraska was after KU shellacked them--and THEY responded by killing the wildcats.

First thing first, Kansas is over-rated. Their strength of schedule is 98th out of 120. Their first 4 games were against little girls. They have only played one ranked opponent that being then #24 ranked Kansas State. The guy who set their schedule up didn't return Texas and Oklahoma's calls. Their real test is coming up at Arrowhead against Missouri. If they are lucky to get past them, they have to tackle the team they have been hiding behind a rock from. They are not a national championship caliber team right now. If you watch ESPN, Fox Sports, or any other news show the commentators are all saying the word "when" as in "when kansas loses" the title picture will become clear. As it stands now the Kansas Jayhawks basketball team has a better chance at winning the BCS title than the football team does.

They are gearing up against a very talented Missouri squad. A good game by Chase Daniels will catapult him towards the Heisman. They need to focus their attention at Iowa State who are seething at the chance to stun the nation this saturday.

If you look at with just records, you have to say wow Kansas must be awesome, but if you look at it in terms of schedule, scores, and stats then you have to say that Missouri is still the better team right now. My case below:

Kansas 19 Colorado 14

Missouri 55 Colorado 10

Kansas 19 Texas A&M 11

Missouri 40 Texas A&M 26

Kansas 76 Nebraska 39 (they allowed 39 pts?)

Missouri 41 Nebraska 6 (very impressive)

Their lone win against a then and I stress then #24 ranked team was a win by 6 points.

Kansas State just lost to Nebraska 72-31 and also lost to Iowa State 31-20????? Iowa State beat them by 11? Kansas better be scared!!!!!

Now, it is not "if", but "where"! Go Hawks!!!! Remember, official KU colors are Crimson and Blue, BIG BLUE - no black in that statement.
