The tolls are to maintain the Turnpike ... nothing else. All I can see is Parents not coming to Lawrence in the future because of the higher tolls. Some, if not most parents, are on budgets ... not made of money.

For once, give the working class a break - I think it is safe to say that most turnpike users are working people trying to make a living - it is hard enough, don't pile on another expense to making an honest living.
