The military won't be defeated in Iraq, because they are not fighting a foreign army. The intelligence of the Bush administration is what has been defeated. Don't blame the military, because it shouldn't have been their fight to begin with. Support the troops by bringing them home.

Going on the defensive is a bad move. Bill Clinton did a lot to fight terrorism in a preventitive, defensive manner, but you cannot block every attack. We've got to stay on offense and fight on their soil.
