Many of these women have been friends since grade school and all were members of Lawrence High's Class of 1963. They finally all got together at the Circle S Ranch north of Lawrence this summer. Nancy Maloney Rich brought the birthday cake for the occasion, and it held up well considering she left it in her car overnight.
It took a long time to happen, but this group of eight women, all Lawrence High School graduates from the Class of 1963, finally got back together for a weekend this summer. Many were neighbors when they were growing up in Lawrence. All celebrated their 60th birthday this year.
