Lawrence firefighters responded to a mobile home fire Monday
morning on East 23rd Street in eastern Lawrence. When firefighters
arrived the flames were shooting out the windows of the mobile
Anne Burgess, of Lawrence, protests with her sign at the City
Commissioners meeting. The city commission discussed the possible
banning of signs.
