David Gene Foglesong 1950 - 2013 Linwood
Memorial services for David Gene Foglesong, 62, Linwood, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Eudora Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Eudora Cemetery. He died Friday, March 15, 2013 at his home.
He was born July 29, 1950 in Guthrie Center, Iowa the son of Darwin and Helen (Myers) Foglesong.
He worked for Teague Electric for a number of years and retired three years ago. He was a past member of the Eagles Club.
He married Betty Lou Whitecotton on December 14, 1968 in Omaha, Nebraska. She preceded him in death on August 1, 2009.
He is survived by his two sons, Scott and wife Stephanie, Perry, KS and Steven and his wife, Jenna, Olathe, KS; his mother, Helen of Guthrie Center,Iowa;onebrother, Bruce Foglesong, Lyndon, Iowa; one sister, Jolene Webb, Woodbine, Iowa; five grandchildren, Emily, Chris, Grant, Graham and Nate.
The family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel.
The family suggests memorials in his name to the American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
