Ernestine “Teen” Price, 74, entered into eternal peace on Friday, March 15, 2013, at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community in Lawrence KS. Ernestine was born on July 23, 1938 in Okmulgee OK, daughter of the late Ernest and Mayme (Oliver) Jones. She graduated from U.S. Grant High in 1956. She worked in home party plans in the areas of Tupperware, Fashion Two-Twenty, and Home Interiors, Inc. for over 50 years. She married the love of her life, the late James A. Price in 1959. Ernestine was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
She was a very kind and loving soul, she had an allegiance and generous heart for God, her family and others.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years in 2010; son, Gregory Price in 1968; daughter, Dana Price in 1970; grandson Brandon Price in 2010; along with siblings, Clarence Jones, Zelpha Peterson and Betty Wallace.
Ernestine leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her; son, Chris (Christine) Price, Baldwin City KS; daughter, Jamie (Ivo Ivanov) Price, Lawrence KS; seven grandchildren, Jessica Foulke, Jordan and Jay Milliken, Maggie and Misty Price, Alena and Emil Ivanov.
