Steven Kyle Hickman 1982 - 2013
Steven “Kyle” Hickman was born on October 6, 1982, and lost his life on February 24, 2013 trying to help a friend. Kyle will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend, Lindsey Crifasi, her parents and brother, Pamela Adams McKean and Vincenzo Crifasi, Adam Crifasi & many extended family members. He will be forever remembered by his parents, Kelly & Steve Hickman, brother Chad Hickman & his wife Megan Hickman, brothers Trey & Neil Hickman & the little joys of his life, nephews Ellison & Calvin Hickman, grandparents Clifford & Annabelle Hickman, Philip & Judy Cutting, & many aunts, uncles, & cousins. Kyle was full of a powerful energy, touching others with words and presence. His integrity and free spirit were two of his greatest characteristics. He spent much energy working with children with special needs and doing things for others. Kyle left a mark on all who knew him through his compassionate heart & selfless nature. Kyle filled his life traveling with his wife and friends, enjoying nature, cycling, cooking, reading, debating, teaching, learning, smiling, creating laughter, dancing, story-embellishing, and most of all LOVING. He lived life to the fullest. Those who wish to offer their support may attend a celebration of Kyle’s life on March 3 at Spring Hill Community Cntr 613 S Race Spring Hill, KS. Come & go from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Brain and Behavior Research Foundation www.bbrfoundation.org.
