Grace Rebekkah Gillespie Cleaver 1919 - 2013 Lawrence
Funeral services for Grace Rebekkah Gillespie Cleaver, 93, Lawrence will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2013, at Cornerstone Family Church in Tonganoxie, KS. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. She died on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Brandon Woods at Alvamar.
Grace was born on November 26, 1919 in Kansas City, KS the daughter of Percy and Mattie (Bently) Gillespie.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother, and secretary.
She was a devoted to her Masonic related organizations over the years. She rose to extremely high office.
Grace was married to Ervel Francis Cleaver on August 31, 1940 in Kansas City, KS. He preceded her in death September 11, 2009.
Survivors include two sons, Fred A. Cleaver, Lawrence, Bill Cleaver, and wife, Melinda, Manford, OK; and five grandchildren, Erik, Rocky, Keri, and Paris, Pattie; seven great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Gillespie.
The family will greet friends from 7 – 8:30 p.m. this evening at the mortuary.
