June M. Osborne 1932 - 2013 Lawrence
June M. Osborne, 80, Lawrence, passed away peacefully Friday, January 4, 2013 at Brandon Woods with her family at her side.
June was born January 31, 1932 in Nashville, TN, she was married to Charles H. Sims, who preceded her in death in 1954.
Survivors include sons, Charles “Ed” Sims and wife Coleen, Stephen Sims; daughter, Linda Osborne; brother, Ed White, all of Lawrence; sister, Ruby Thomas of Moreno, CA; as well as nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A private family memorial service is planned.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to United Cerebral Palsy, sent in care of Rumsey- Yost Funeral Home, PO Box 1260, Lawrence, KS 66044.
