William E. Guenther

William E. Guenther, 75, died February 3, 2013, at home in Morgan Hill, CA.
Bill was born on November 27, 1937 at home in Baldwin City, Kansas the son of Bill and Ruth Guenther, the first son and second of four children.
Bill attended high school at Planeview in Wichita and graduated from Baldwin City High School. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast, avid drag strip racer, and former race track owner (Scottsdale, AZ). He traveled extensively on his motorcycle, solo and with friends, to many destinations in the United States. He was a retired executive with Symmetry Corp., and past and present, skilled craftsman, remodeling homes in the San Jose area.
Bill is survived by ex-wife Sande; daughters, Kelly Parriott and Stacy Guenther; grandsons, Alec and Gage Parriott and Jordan Alejandre; sisters, Shirley Ackerman and Kathy Biermann; nieces and nephews: Jill, David, Jim, and Linda Ackerman; Krista Bundt, Kroy Biermann, and KelseyTorske.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William F. and Ruth Guenther, and his brother and best friend, Jim Guenther.
A visitation will be from 12pm to 2pm on Friday, Feb. 15, at Lamb- Roberts Funeral Home in Baldwin City, KS. We welcome friends and family to come by and share their memories of Bill with us. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery at 3P.M. Friday.
A memorial service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held on Sat., Feb. 23rd, at Venture Christian Church, Los Gatos, CA.
