Ronette J. Cook 1926 - 2013 Winchester
Ronette J. Cook, 86, of Winchester, died Friday, February 8, 2013 at the F.W. Huston Senior Living Center, Winchester. She was born June 16, 1926 at Minneapolis, MN., the daughter of John and Rose O’Connor Christopherson. Ronette attended the University of Minnesota where she earned her Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts and Masters Degrees in Remedial Education. She worked as an Elementary School teacher for Lawrence USD 497. She also taught overseas for the Department of Army Military schools. Ronette is survived by a Son, Christopher Thomas Cook, Winchester, and one Grandson. Cremation with no services is planned. There will be a private family scattering at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lawrence Public Library and sent in care of Barnett Family Funeral Home, PO Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS 66066.
