Sharon Stoelmaker 1945 - 2013 Eudora
Graveside services for Sharon Stoelmaker, 68, Eudora will be held 11a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Hesper Friends Cemetery south of Eudora. She died on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Baldwin Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Baldwin City.
Sharon was born on January 20, 1945 in Lawrence, KS the daughter of Emil Stoelmaker and Norma Bessie (Kurtz) Stoelmaker Stanley.
She worked at Hercules Ammunition Plant and was most recently a bus driver for Lawrence Transit.
She was a member of the Hesper Friends Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Cherry Eaton and husband, Robert, Gardner, Rhonda Tuggle and husband, David, Eudora; two brothers, Sam Stanley and Eddie Stanley, both of Eudora; two nephews, Brian Eaton and Austin Tuggle. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sharon will lie-in-state from noon until 9 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials in her name to Hesper Friends Church or Vitas Hospice and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
