Brian David Hoffman 1971 - 2012 Lawrence
Funeral service for Brian David Hoffman, 41, Lawrence will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Lawrence Heights Christian Church. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Stull Cemetery. He died September 25, 2012 in Lawrence.
He was born on February 24, 1971 in Lawrence, KS the son of Robert S. and Edwinia (Vaught) Hoffman.
Brian owned the Sports Dome from 1993 until 2011. He worked at Crown Automotive as a Sales Associate. He was an active member at Lawrence Heights Christian Church. Brian enjoyed playing softball and basketball. He coached his children’s basketball, softball and baseball teams. He also volunteered at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in the Cancer Center.
He married Kim (Schmidt) McPherson on June 8, 1996. They divorced in 2008.
Other survivors include his parents Bob and Eddie Hoffman, Lawrence; children, Brittany, Alyssa and Matthew, of the home; brother, Scott Hoffman and wife, Christina, 3 nieces, Jordyn, Kadyn, Luxdyn, all of Lawrence and girlfriend, Corey Lesslie, Topeka.
The family will greet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2012 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lawrence Heights Christian Church or Relay for Life and may be sent in care of the Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
