Donald G. Bushell Jr. 1934 - 2012 Port Townsend, Wa.
No service is planned for Donald G. Bushell Jr., 78, Port Townsend, Wa.
Mr. Bushell died of lung cancer Sept. 16, 2012, in Port Townsend.
He was born June 22, 1934, in Bellingham, Washington, the son of Donald G. Bushell and Olivia Bushell.
Mr. Bushell received a B.A. from University of Washington, a M.A. from Kent State, and a PhD from Washington University (St. Louis). He was a professor at KU in HDFL from 1967 until his retirement. With his wife Sherrill founded Century School in Lawrence, Board Member Intermountain Centers for Human Development.
He married Sherrill Bushell. They shared 52 years of marriage. She preceded him in death.
He has three daughters, Kristen Fulton, LaVista, NE, Mikelan Coleman, Overland Park, KS, and Erin Bushell Palo Alto, CA; and 8 grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the donor’s choice.
Kosec Funeral Home, in Port Townsend, WA, was in charge of arrangements.
