Mildred “Lorene” Richardson
Funeral services for Mildred “Lorene” Richardson, 83, Eudora will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary – Eudora Chapel. Private family interment will be held Monday at Eudora Cemetery. Mrs. Richardson died September 6, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born on April 16, 1929 in Newnata, AR the daughter of Alf and Lula Long Gammill.
She has been a resident of Eudora since 1952.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Eudora Baptist Church and was a former member of the Whitewater Baptist Church in Mountain View, AR.
She married Dewey Parnell Richardson on May 6, 1946 in Oxley, AR. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2011.
Survivors include one daughter, Alandra Rice and her husband, Bob, Eudora, KS; two sons, Dwane Richardson and his wife, Valerie, Eudora, KS, Lyle Richardson, and his wife Bobbi, Rogers, AR; six grandchildren,
Kyle Christiansen, Kirsten Boyd, Barclay Richardson, Angela Fox, Kinya Patterson & Terra Bounds; and eight great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by one brother, Dorlos Gammill, Olathe, KS.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service on Sunday at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary-Eudora Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Eudora Baptist Church and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
