David Paul Young
David Paul Young, age 49, passed away October 29th after a brave battle with cancer.
He was the beloved son of Bill and Ginnie Young of St. Louis, dear brother of Terry Edwards (Bob) of Naples, Florida; Sue Young of Denver, uncle of Alexandra and Jack Eynon; nephew of Josephine Wiest of Louisiana and cousins.
He graduated from Kansas University with a degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in environmental engineering. His honors included Chi Epsilon in civil engineering and the honor fraternity Tau Beta Pi. His career was with the Kansas Geological Survey in Lawrence as a hydrologist.
If desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Midland Hospice in Topeka.
Visitation will be in St. Louis at a later date.
