Patricia A. Ward 1941 - 2012 Lawrence
Funeral services for Patricia A. Ward, 71, Lawrence will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Warren- McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Private family burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery. She died September 27, 2012 at Indian Meadow Nursing Home in Overland Park, Kansas.
She was born March 30, 1941 in Weslaco, Texas the daughter of Paul and Edith (Hatfield) Ward.
She was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for many years.
She is survived by her daughter Paula Singh of Garland, TX; one sister, Renee Channell of California; one brother, Paul Ward of Cleveland, TX; two nieces, Hannah Lusk and Jessica Lusk, a nephew, Jonathan Lusk.
The family suggests memorials in her name to Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
The family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
