John S. Forman 1943 - 2012 Sun City Festival, Buckeye, AZ
John S. Forman, 68, of Sun City Festival, Buckeye, AZ passed away after a long illness on May 20, 2012. He was born in Kansas City, MO on October 23, 1943 to George W. and Ruth Forman.
John received his BA in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Kansas at Lawrence, KS in 1966. John was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He was an engineer with over 43 years of experience in power system planning and analysis. Throughout his professional career, John was the Division Engineer for the Kansas Power & Light Company; Chief for the Power Division of Central Valley Project for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation; the Deputy Area Manager of Western Area Power Administration; President of RMI Utility Services and Director, Navigant Consulting, Inc.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Bobbie Forman of 47 years; his loving son Chris (Michelle) Forman; his loving daughter Stephanie (Dwaine) Bright; five dear grandchildren Robert, Carly and Jessika, Ashley (Don) and Johnathon; sister Jane and (Craig) Cigard; sister-in-law Jere Forman; nieces and nephew Sarah, Alex, Graham, Bart, and Jennifer. John is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Larry Forman.
