Dean Clifford Brown
Funeral services for Dean Clifford Brown, 49, Lawrence, will be held Monday, May 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. He died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at his work.
He was born September 12, 1962 in Lawrence, Kansas the son of Marvin Clifford and Wyona M. (Reavis) Brown.
He worked as a Print Tech for Berry Plastics for the past 15 years. He was a member of the Mt. Oread Aerie #309 Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He married Kathryn Kay Finfrock on July 6, 2002 in Lawrence. His dear loving wife, Kathy preceded him in death on January 17, 2011. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dallas Brown and step father Ellis Chandlee.
Survivors include three daughters, Crystal Grant and husband, Andrew, KaLynn Matile, Amber Slusser, all of Topeka; one son, Lucky Pollet, Topeka; one brother, Steve Chandlee, Lawrence; two sisters, Deborah Sue Goos and husband, Paul of Tonganoxie; Suzie Cruzan of Colorado; seven grandchildren, Alex, Gabby, Annie, Nolan, Noah, Kaden, and Kylie; aunt, Dixie Greeno and husband, Richard, Lawrence; three nephews, Tyson, Clinton, Damon and two nieces, Katrina and Nina.
The family will greet friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Mt. Oread Aerie #309 Fraternal Order of Eagles or to the March of Dimes and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
