David L. Statler 1929 - 2012 Laurel, MT
David L. Statler passed away April 26, 2012, in Laurel, MT.
He was born May 21, 1929, in St. Louis.
David served in the U.S. Army. He survived the Battle of Chosin Reservoir and is a life member of the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Marion; two daughters, Sharon (Daryl) Stine, Raytown, Mo., and Yvoune (Richard) Koleber, McLouth; a son, Ervin (Rachael); a brother, Eldon and a sister Cleta Wells, both of Lawrence; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, six step children and four step grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held June 5 at Yellowstone County Veterans Cemetery in Laurel.
A memorial has been set in his name for the Rocky Mountain Hospice in care of the Smith Funeral Chapel, 315 E. 3rd St., Laurel, MT 59044.
