Evelyn Swanson 1930 - 2012 Lawrence
Services for Evelyn Swanson, 81, of Lawrence, Kansas, formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private.
Evelyn passed away March 1, 2012, in Lawrence, Kansas. She was born April 15, 1930, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Ruby Howson Holle. She married James Swanson on May 21, 1950, at Clinton, Iowa, and was a homemaker. Evelyn lived in Lawrence, Kansas, since moving from Mountain Home, Arkansas, after the death of her husband in October of 2011.
Evelyn is survived by 2 sons, Jeff and Jeannine Swanson and their family, of Lawrence, KS, and Greg Swanson, of Kansas City, KS.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, Heart of America, 3846 W. 75th St., Prairie Village, KS 66028.
