Ginny worked at Kansas Color Press for many years; and worked for the University of Kansas as a custodial supervisor for 18 years retiring in 2002. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Ginny loved traveling with her husband Dean and she was a fanatical KU Jayhawk Basketball Fan. Ginny loved garage sales and clipping coupons! She always let her grandchildren know that education was highly important and something no-one could ever take away. She was very accepting to everyone and welcomed them into her family with an open heart. She became everyone’s Mom. Her son remembers doing everything together both in work and play. Virginia chose to be a mother – her daughter is most grateful to have been chosen. She was the glue that held everyone together.
