Connie M. Feurt-Silvers 1954 - 2012 Lawrence
A memorial service for Connie M. Feurt-Silvers, 57, Lawrence, KS, will be held at 6:30 pm Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Lawrence Funeral Chapel in Lawrence. Connie died Friday, January 20th, 2012 at the Midland Care Hospice House in Topeka, Kansas. Connie was born July 24, 1954 in Topeka, KS. She worked throughout her life mostly as a Daycare Provider and helper. She loved children. Connie enjoyed collecting antiques and Coca-Cola memorabilia, shopping for bargains, John Force and “I Love Lucy”. She spent time playing cards with family and friends, and had a very giving heart with her time. Most importantly, she loved being with her children and grandchildren and family gatherings, especially this past Mother’s Day. She is survived by 5 children, Christina Cadenhead, Travis Shepard, Jeremiah Feurt, Ronda Green, Justin Feurt, and their spouses; many loving grandchildren; two sisters Karen Potter and Kathy Boyd and their children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Silvers; her mother Elizabeth Converse; her step-father Robert Converse and her sister Sherry Allen. Connie will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
