Helene W. Hall 1926 - 2012
Helene W. Hall, 85, died February 11, 2012, at John Knox Village Hospice in Lee’s Summit, MO. She was born September 17, 1926, in Centralia, IL, to James Orlando Lawrence and Gladys Hosman Lawrence. She was married to Dr. William E. Hall on June 27, 1948. They lived in Osage City, Kansas where Dr. Hall had a dental practice until his retirement. Helene earned her B.S., M.S., and Ed.S. degrees at Emporia State University. She was Coordinator/Instructor at Kansas City Kansas Community College for 19 years. She moved to John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit, MO in 1997.
Helene was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Victor S. LaCosse, her husband, her daughter, Suzan Elizabeth, her sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Meeker, and her grandson Travis J. Hall. Survivors include three sons, Ron (wife Bonnie), Steve, Jerry (wife Roxanne), and five grandchildren, Cara (husband Mike), Megan, Alisha, Jerad (wife Vanessa), and Jessica.
Graveside services in Osage City, Kansas, Cemetery are pending.
